ACDI
Asynchronous Communication Device Interface; programming interface which supports device-independent communication between devices on an asynchronous communications link. ACDI is supported by OS/2 Extended Edition Version 1.x, OS/2 Extended Services, and by a number of other hardware and software vendors.
