This redbook helps you to understand the latest release of IBM eNetwork

Communications Server for OS/2 Warp Version 5.0. It focuses on the new

networking support implemented in this product, and helps you plan, install, and

configure the new functions quickly in a wide variety of environments.

In this redbook you will find information on the installation of SNA nodes such as

End Nodes, Network Nodes and the new Branch Extender Node.

You will also find numerous configuration examples showing ways to set up the

SNA gateway and the TN3270E server when connected to subarea or APPN

networks using WAN protocols.

Some knowledge of previous releases of the IBM eNetwork Communications

Servers, as well as a basic knowledge of networking concepts and terminology
