To Install First Time OS/2 For Windows From Dolphin 8000AT CD-ROM Drive

1. Duplicate a copy of "IBM OS/2 2.1 Diskette 1" into a new 1.44M floppy
diskette and label it "Dolphin Diskette 1";
2. Copy the Dolphin 8000AT CD-ROM driver (DOLAT001.ADD) from the "Dolphin
8000AT CD-ROM Device Driver For OS/2" provided by Optics Storage into
"Dolphin Diskette 1";
3. Add the following statements into the CONFIG.SYS file in "Dolphin
Diskette 1":
BASEDEV=DOLAT001.ADD /P:XXX /V
/P:XXX = XXX represents the address port in three figures. e.g. 340.
/V = Verbose mode
4. Connect up Dolphin 8000AT CD-ROM drive, make sure the jumper setting for
the port address is correspond to the statement mentioned in 3.
5. Boot up the PC up using "IBM OS/2 2.1 Installation Diskette". When the
installation program requests for "IBM OS/2 2.1 Diskette 1", insert
"Dolphin Diskette 1" instead. Then put in the OS/2 CD-ROM into Dolphin
CD-ROM drive and continue to follow the standard installation instructions.

THE ABOVE PROCEDURES ARE JUST FOR YOU TO INSTALL OS/2 FROM DOLPHIN 8000AT
CD-ROM DRIVE. THE DRIVE ITSELF IS NOT YET PROPERLY INSTALLED UNDER OS/2.
