What is CD Audio Dump?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
CD Audio Dump/2 is an application to copy CD Digital Audio tracks to your
hard disk. The tracks are copied over the data bus without a roundabout
route over a sound card. There is also no need for any multimedia support
from MMPM/2.
The program was originally written for compiling some new audio discs from
existing discs for my own use.

System requirements

Software:
Operating system IBM OS/2 v2.1 or higher
No MMPM/2 needed
Hardware:
CD drive which supports audio playback and direct reading over the data bus.

Installation

Please use the installation program to install or remove CD Audio Dump/2.

This program is distributed as shareware. This means that you can try this
program for 30 days; if you want to use this program after this 30-day trial
period, you must register it.
The free distribution of the unregistered program is welcomed.

License agreement

Grant of License
The Software is not public domain software nor is it free software. The use
of the Software, except for an initial 30-day trial period, requires
registration. Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use the
Software on a 30-day trial basis for the purpose of determining whether the
Software is appropriate for their needs. After this period, you must either
register the Software or remove it from your computer system.
A single user license grants you the right to use one copy of the Software
on a single terminal connected to a single computer. A licensed user may
use the Software on different computers, but will not use the Software on
more than one computer at the same time.
You may NOT:
- sublicense, rent, lease, or assign the Program, or
- reverse assemble, reverse compile, or otherwise translate the Program.
We do not warrant that the Program is free from claims by a third party of
copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or any other intellectual
property infringement.
Under no circumstances we are liable for any of the following:

- loss of, or damage to, your records or data, or
- economic consequential damages (including lost profits or savings) or
incidental damages, even if we are informed of their possibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations or exclusions, so they may

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error free operation of the Program.

Registration

The registration fee for CD Audio Dump/2 is 34 DM (Deutsche Mark), about 21
US$. Registrations are only accepted in DM. You can register by credit
card or bank transfer.
For your convenience use the registration object created in the CD Audio
Dump/2 desktop folder. You can also use the registration sheet provided in
the installation directory.
Compuserve users may register this software online in the Software
Registration forum (GO SWREG). The Compuserve name of CD Audio Dump/2 is
CDADump.ZIP, the registration ID is 10743.

Restrictions in the unregistered version

The following restrictions apply to the unregistered version:
- at program startup the product information dialog is shown
- only one track can be written to disk per session
These restrictions are removed by entering the registration key.
